From a few decades back in Pakistan faced a huge wave of terrorism and our security organizations fought them well.
Normally people don't do aftermath if any mishap happens with them because they don't care, but if we try our best to guide you folks so your personal information don't make huge fuss on Internet like we heard rumours day by day of leaked photos and videos of females data which is very important for them and females got blackmailed during this process, now you can register your complaint to FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) about harassment and PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) can trace your lost phone and block it permanently.
If your mobile phone handset has been stolen, snatched or misplaced, you can lodge a complaint with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

You can lodge a complaint in the following ways
- Visit PAT Headquarters or its nearest zonal office
- Email PTA at imei@pta.gov.pk
- Call at PTA helpline 0800-25625
- The complainant can also contact the Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) helplines: 1102, 021-35662222 and 021-35682222 for lodging complaint.
- All IMEIs of stolen/lost mobile phone
- Mobile number (used in stolen/lost phone)
- Brand/model/colour
- Date of incident
- Name
- CNIC number
- Father’s name/mother’s name
- Address
- Contact number
The status of blocking can be checked after 16 working hours of reporting.
You can check the status in the following ways
SMS
- Send 15-digit IMEI to 8484
- Visit PTA website
- Check the status of a device via an android application (DVS)
“Your mobile device (IMEI #) is blocked (reported stolen/lost/misused to PTA)”
Note: PTA’s mandate is only limited to blocking of the phone. In order to trace/track a stolen phone, local police me be approached.
False reporting is a criminal offence and will be dealt as per law.
